Animators' Club

How can we combine art, film, and storytelling to express ourselves and our ideas? In this four session workshop series, students will work through the entire filmmaking process, from concept to creation, focusing on simple stop-motion animation techniques and visual storytelling. We will begin with an introduction to the principles of stop-motion, followed by brainstorming and storyboard creation. The following sessions will be spent creating artwork for both the characters and the backdrops, as well as working in teams to film. In the final session, we will edit, add sound, finalize, and screen our short films!
